I received my first class medical tomorrow, what should I expect? Oh and update on the solo I plan to go 8:00 on Saturday morning! I thought you would say that most students in the first go for medical the first class just to make sure they have no other problems on the road. If you were training, I’m sure you know this …. I guess a class 1 is similar worldwide, although I do mine in Australia and you are in the states. You’ll get a pretty thorough hearing test eye test (probably including complete eye assessment of your retinas, peripheral vision, etc.), ECG, blood pressure and stuff like BMI. You’ll most likely get a blood test for sugar levels and cholesterol, and a urine screen for drugs and a long interview about everything from your drinking if s applies to how much you exercise whether you have ever been suicidaire.Encore once the details are likely to vary, but you can expect more of what précède.Et good luck for your first solo!
