AnnaMonroe Question : Ideas to start a support group infertility
I’ve been going through infertility for some time and not have many people to talk to who understands. I’m sure there are lots of people out there like me who need support from others who understand exactly what they are going through and how they feel. I decided to start a support group for infertility in my area, there is reason not to be here. (I live in a small town in Kentucky). Any ideas that might help me get a jump start on this? Several years ago, I was able to relate to people with an old pre-Internet service called Prodigy. I learned a lot about the problems of infertility and they were incredibly supportive after I had a third miscarriage and then had my second child. They were an amazing group of women and I regret having lost touch with many of eux.Il is a national organization called RESOLVE, which may be able to connect with people in your area. Try www.resolve.com (I’m not good at links). After I had my second miscarriage (back in the dark ages before the Internet), I found a group led by the National Council of Jewish Women. It was a group of non-dominational and helped me a lot duing a time when I thought I was the only living cela.Vous are lucky that there is a lot of information out there on this subject. Back in the late 80s, when I was through this, people do not really talk about it. Most books of pregnancy may have one or two paragraphs on anything miscarriage and almost on infertility.
